Troubleshooting slow load times in Prezi

 

Slow load times can happen for a number of reasons. Here are a couple of ways to troubleshoot the issue:


1. Clear your cache – In your Prezi project, press Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows, or Cmd + Shift + R for Mac. You can also log in to your Prezi account using a private or incognito window and see if the project still loads slowly.

Note: Clearing your cache this way doesn’t impact your browser cookies or history. It only clears the cache for the website you have open.

2. Check other browsers – If you have another internet browser on your computer, check if the same problem occurs there. If it doesn’t, it’s likely an issue with the original browser. Check if you have the latest version installed.

3. Check your network – Did your working environment change in the past few days, such as changing internet providers or undergoing a recent outage? You can try a speed test or contact your internet provider for more info.

4. System requirements – Confirm that your computer meets our minimum system requirements for Prezi. Check out our article on system requirements for more information.
