How to remove image backgrounds in Prezi Present

Do you have an image that you'd like to use in a presentation, but the background keeps getting in the way? Remove it with a simple click!

  1. Select the image that you want to edit.
  2. Go to the property bar and click the Remove background button.

Removing the background

Prezi Present’s image background removal finds the main object in the image and cuts away the rest, helping you create photomontages and professional looking presentations.

  1. Select the image that you want to edit by clicking on it.
  2. Go to the property bar and click the Remove background button. After a moment, the background will disappear and you can edit and move the image normally.
  3. You can crop the image to eliminate the excess space that has been removed.

Achieving better results

While background removal works with any image in Prezi Present, some backgrounds are easier to remove than others. Here are some tips to ensure that you get great results from your image background removal efforts:

  • The bigger the contrast between the foreground and the background, the better the result.
  • When thinking of an image to pick, consider that simple backgrounds are easier to remove than backgrounds with a lot of small details.
  • Images with white backgrounds work best.
  • It helps if the image has a sharp foreground since the foreground's blurry parts might get removed.
