Need access to your favorite templates without relying on an internet connection? Prezi’s selective offline template download feature gives you full control. Download only the templates you need and free up space when you don’t. Stay prepared, even when you’re offline.

Downloading templates for offline use

Your downloaded templates always appear with a green icon next to its title. To download more:

1. Launch the Prezi desktop app and click on Create from Template.
2. Find the template you want and click the three dots under its thumbnail.
3. Select Make available offline from the menu.

Once the download is complete, the template’s icon will turn green, meaning it’s ready for offline use. 

Offline mode differences

When you switch to offline mode, here’s what you’ll notice:

• Offline Banner: A banner at the top notifies you that you are offline.
• Limited AI Functionality: The AI templates have the option Use template with AI grayed out.
• Template Appearance: Templates not downloaded will appear with reduced opacity, indicating they aren’t usable until you’re online.

How to use templates offline

No internet connection? No problem. From your Prezi desktop app dashboard:

1. Select Create from Template.
2. Navigate to the Downloaded option under the search bar.
3. Go to the three dots menu under your chosen template.
4. Click Use template.

This will take you to the Editor and you're ready to start creating your presentation offline.

How to remove downloaded templates

Need to free up space on your device? Removing offline templates is just as easy:

1. In the template chooser, find the downloaded template you want to remove.
2. Click the three dots below its thumbnail and select Remove offline access.
3. Confirm the removal in the pop-up window.

Using filters

Looking for something specific? Use filters to streamline your search. From under the search bar you can choose from:

• All templates
• Usable with AI
• Downloaded templates

Although AI-assisted templates will still be visible and available for use when not connected to the internet, the AI generation functionalities will be disabled.
