Overview
The Prezi Present Analytics dashboard will give you an overview of the presentations you’ve sent out, which viewers have looked at them, and for how long. When you visit the analytics page, each link you’ve sent out will appear as a circle. If you hover over the circle, you’ll see the background of that particular presentation.
From this page you can
- create a new link to send out to other viewers.
- download a spreadsheet (CSV) of your analytics.
- get stats on your presentation.
- see individual viewer stats.
The statistics of your presentation’s performance is broken down according to whom you shared it with, when it was shared, when it was last opened and viewed, total view time, number of views, and the number of viewers.
If a viewer is currently looking at your presentation, you’ll see an “On air” flag to let you know.
View time
The view time is calculated according to how long a presentation is actively viewed, which means the time is not counted if the viewer leaves the presentation open and idle for longer than 60 seconds or switches to another tab or window.
Views
The number of views is measured according to how many times that particular viewer opens your presentation.
Viewers
The number of viewers marks how many different devices were used to view your presentation. For example, if you send your presentation’s link to a viewer, and it is viewed on both a mobile and desktop computer, you’ll see two viewers.
Analytics on an individual presentation
Clicking on the presentation’s circle from the main page allows you to view performance details, including the number of views, viewers, total view time, and a breakdown by individual viewers.
When you choose to request your audience to provide their name and email address, you can see exactly who has viewed your presentation.
Otherwise, if a single link is shared with multiple people, the data will appear as Viewer 1, Viewer 2, and so on.
To track a specific viewer’s engagement without requesting their name and email, consider sharing a unique link with them individually.
From this page you can also edit the reference name, choose to hide the presentation from the company leaderboard, and stop tracking data on your board. For more information on the details of a presentation, check out this article.
Analytics on an individual presentation with topics
When you use topics in your presentation, you are able to view how long your audience has spent on each topic or subtopic.
