How to present and view a Prezi presentation

Learn how to present, view, and navigate your Prezi presentation, from the dashboard or editor, online or offline, with presenter notes.

When you’re ready to share your work, presenting your Prezi is simple. You can present directly from the dashboard, the Prezi editor, or offline using the Prezi desktop app.

Quick steps:

  1. Click the Present button from the Dashboard on from the top toolbar in the Editor. 
  2. Navigate the presentation using the arrows at the bottom or your left and right keyboard arrows. 
  3. You can zoom out back to the Overview by clicking the Home button on the middle right-side of the screen. To skip to a different portion of your content, simply click on the frame you'd like to zoom to.
  4. You can enter or exit full screen by clicking the icon in the lower right corner of the window or use the Edit button in the top right corner to open the presentation in the Prezi Present editor.


How do I start a Prezi presentation from the dashboard?

  1. From the Prezi Present dashboard, click Present on the thumbnail of your presentation.
  2. The presentation opens in a new window.
  3. Use the arrow buttons or your keyboard arrows to move through your content.
  4. Click the Home button on the right to zoom out to the Overview.
  5. Jump to any part of your presentation by clicking directly on a frame.
  6. Use the full screen icon in the lower right corner to enter or exit full screen.
  7. To make edits, click Edit in the top right to reopen your presentation in the Prezi Present editor.

How do I present from the Prezi editor?

When presenting from the editor, you stay in creation mode while previewing your work.

  1. Click the eye button from the top toolbar to go to Preview mode.
  2. Alternatively, click Present and then select Start Presentation.
  3. Navigate using the on-screen arrows or your keyboard arrows.
  4. Click Home anytime to return to the Overview.
  5. To jump between sections, click the frame you want to zoom to.
  6. Enter or exit full screen using the icon in the lower-right corner.
  7. Click Edit in the top-right corner to return to the editor view.

How do I use presenter notes in Prezi?

When presenting with Prezi Presenter view, you can access your speaker notes and a presentation timer.
To view notes while presenting:

  1. Click Present, then select Presenter view from the dropdown.
  2. Two windows will open:
    • Present view – the audience view (without notes).
    • Presenter view – your private view with notes and navigation tools.
  3. Review your notes on the side panel and adjust text size as needed.
  4. Use the timer to track your pacing or reset it for practice sessions.
  5. Use the navigation arrows at the bottom to move through each step.

Tip: When using a projector or screen sharing, make sure you share the Present view window with your audience.

What are the best ways to navigate my Prezi presentation?

You can navigate your Prezi presentation in a few simple ways:

  • Keyboard: Use the left and right arrow keys to move through your presentation path.
  • On-screen controls: Use the arrow buttons below the canvas to go forward or back.

  • Click any section or frame to zoom straight to it.
