Accessing the editor in Prezi Present

The editor is where you can create, edit, and change your presentations.

  1. Click on the Edit icon of an existing presentation from your dashboard
  2. To edit a new presentation, click on create new Presentation and choose from the template gallery
  3. You'll be taken to the Prezi Present editor
  4. From the preview or Present mode you can go back to editing by clicking Back to edit or ESC on your keyboard


Editing a presentation from your dashboard

Once you log in to Prezi, you’ll be taken to your dashboard. From here, you can access the editor.

1. From the dashboard you can either:

- click the Edit icon in the thumbnail of the presentation you want to edit

- click on create new Presentation and select a template

2. Your presentation will load in a different window.

3. Voilà! You’re ready to edit.

Note: If you can't click on the Edit button, only the Play button, then you do not have rights to edit that presentation, only to view and Present.

Accessing the editor while in present mode

Even if you’re presenting or viewing your presentation that you just opened directly from your dashboard, you can easily switch to edit mode by:

1. Clicking on the Back to Edit button in the top-right corner when using the quick Preview mode or

2. Clicking ESC on your keyboard when you are in full screen Start presentation mode.
