Checking for updates

Prezi for Desktop automatically updates so you don’t have to worry about having the latest version. However, if you want to check just in case, read on.

Windows

You can choose to not download updates automatically in Prezi for Desktop. To do so:

  1. Click on the cogwheel in the left sidebar.
  2. Under “About” you’ll see your version of Prezi for Desktop.
  3. Uncheck the box next to “Download updates automatically.”
  4. If you turn off automatic updates, you can check for them manually by clicking the button Check for updates.

To manually check for updates in Prezi for Desktop, go to Prezi > Check for updates... in the upper toolbar.

Checking for new templates

New templates automatically download and sync when you log in. There’s nothing you have to do to have the latest and greatest Prezi templates at your fingertips.
