When you want to remove a presentation from your Prezi dashboard or account, you can delete it or move it to the trash. Deleted presentations remain in the trash for 30 days before being permanently erased.

How do I delete my presentation in Prezi Present?
To delete a presentation in Prezi Present:
- From your dashboard, find the presentation thumbnail.
- Click the three dots (…) menu.
- Select Move to trash and confirm your choice.
Alternative method:
You can also delete from the detailed view screen:
- Hover over the presentation.
- Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Move to trash and confirm.
The presentation is moved to your trash folder. It will stay there for 30 days or until you permanently delete it.
When you delete a presentation, co-editors and viewers lose access to it.
How do I remove myself from a shared presentation in Prezi?
If you are a collaborator and don’t see the Delete option, you can remove yourself from the shared presentation.
To remove yourself:
- From the dashboard, click the three dots (…) on the presentation.
- Choose Sharing and Privacy.
- In the pop-up, click the dropdown next to your name.
- Select Remove, then click Done.
Once removed, the presentation disappears from your dashboard. This does not affect the owner’s version or other collaborators.
What happens when I delete a Prezi presentation?
When you delete a presentation in Prezi:
- It disappears from your dashboard and account.
- Collaborators lose access immediately.
- It stays in your trash folder for 30 days.
- After 30 days (or if deleted manually), it’s permanently erased.
How do I permanently delete a project in Prezi?
If you want to erase a presentation completely, you can delete it permanently from your trash.
To permanently delete:
- Go to your dashboard and open the Trash folder in the left sidebar.
- Hover over the presentation you want to erase.
- Click the Trash icon or select Delete forever from the three dots (…) menu.
- Confirm your choice in the pop-up window.
How do I delete my presentation if I no longer have access to my account?
If you don’t have access to your Prezi account, our team can assist with deleting your presentation if you still have access to the email address linked to the account or if the account includes active payment details.
