Getting started with broadcast links

You’ve got your presentation created and loaded. Now it’s time to present it live to anyone, anywhere in the world. Prezi’s share broadcast link allows you to present in real time without the need to be there in person. Just send your link and launch to get started.

  1. To start a broadcast, in the editor, click the Share icon at the top of your screen, then select Share broadcast link.
  2. Copy the Live Prezi link from the popup window and share it with your viewers, then click Start Live Prezi.
  3. Change the name of your broadcast link by clicking the pencil icon, entering the new name, and then click Confirm.
  4. Click the arrows at the bottom of your screen to navigate. You can also use the LEFT and RIGHT arrows on your keyboard. To jump to a particular topic or area of your presentation, simply click on it or scroll to zoom in and out.
  5. Once you’re finished giving the presentation, simply click End in the upper right corner of your screen.

Paid feature: Broadcast links are available for users with a Plus or higher Prezi plan. Luckily it’s a breeze to upgrade your license and get access to this and all the other great features our Prezi plans have to offer.

1. If in the editor, click the Share icon in the top left of your screen. It is to the left of the Present button. From the dropdown menu, select Share broadcast link.

You can also generate a broadcast link from your dashboard. From your dashboard, find the presentation you want to create a link for. Hover over its preview and select the cogwheel. From here, select Live Prezi to create a link.

Note: We’re updating the name of our broadcast link feature to make it clearer to use. For now, you might still see the term Live Prezi in certain parts of your experience.

2. You’ll get a pop-up with your broadcast link. Copy it and send it to your audience.

Note: This link is not the link to your presentation itself. Unless you’ve shared your presentation in another way, your audience will only be able to see your presentation when you’re presenting it using the broadcast link.

If you’d like to protect your Live Prezi with an access code, flip the toggle switch to the right.

Enter an access code or click the arrow to auto-generate one. Then, copy the code and send it to your audience along with your broadcast link. This code can be changed every time you present using a broadcast link.

When you’re ready to present, click Start Live Prezi.

If you don’t like your original link name, you’re not stuck. You can change it at anytime, but we recommend choosing one that’s memorable for you and your audience.

Simply click the pencil icon in the field next to your link. Then, enter your new link name and click Confirm
