What browsers does Prezi support?

For editing: Prezi is supported on the latest version of Chrome, Firefox 64 bit, Edge, and Safari on Windows or Mac. 
For viewing: Presentations display best on the latest versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. You can use the Prezi Viewer app on Android or iOS to view and share presentations.

What are the requirements for using the Prezi desktop app?

Users with a Prezi Plus or higher license can download and install the Prezi Present desktop app. Learn what are the full system requirements for the Prezi desktop app.

Can I use Prezi offline?

Yes, you can use Prezi offline when working in the Prezi desktop app. If your internet connection drops, Prezi automatically saves your work locally on your computer. When you reconnect, all your changes will sync automatically to the cloud.

Can I transfer Prezi Classic presentations to Prezi Present?

Yes. Prezi Classic was built on Adobe Flash, which was discontinued at the end of 2020. Prezi Present, our HTML-based editor, combines the best of Classic and Next to give you a modern, reliable experience. You can still access, view, and present all your Classic presentations through your Prezi Present dashboard. If you’d like to edit them, you can easily convert and open them in Prezi Present with just one click.

How do I import my PowerPoint slides into Prezi?

You can import your PowerPoint slides into Prezi from the Media menu while editing a presentation. Select PowerPoint, upload your file, and pick the slides you want to add. You can also upload your PowerPoint file from the dashboard to instantly create a new presentation with Prezi AI.

How do I import only certain parts of a PowerPoint slide into Prezi?

When you import from PowerPoint to Prezi, the entire slide is brought in as a single image, perfect for keeping your original slide layout intact. If you’d like to highlight or reuse a specific part of the slide, you can easily save that element separately and upload it directly into your Prezi presentation.

How do I edit my PowerPoint slides after importing them into Prezi?

Once you import PowerPoint slides into Prezi, each slide becomes a static image with its own frame. If the slides have a solid background, you can hide it in the toolbar to help your content blend more seamlessly. To make content changes, edit the original PowerPoint and re-import it.

How can I change preset fonts and colors to match my brand?

Each template in Prezi Present includes preset fonts and colors that you can customize to fit your brand. To save your changes as a new preset simply select an object, adjust its properties using the context toolbar and right-click to select Update style preset.

Are there keyboard shortcuts in Prezi?

Editing and customizing your presentation

How can I change my template in Prezi?

If you want to completely change your template in Prezi Present, create a new presentation and copy and paste your content (CTRL/CMD+C and CTRL/CMD+V) from the old one. Alternatively, save elements to your library to reuse them later. Learn more about how to manage and reuse content in Prezi Present.

How do I change the background of one frame in Prezi?

To make a frame's background look unique in your Prezi presentation, add an image or shape, adjust the opacity and bring your content to the front to make it stand out. You can also lock your new frame's background to avoid accidental movement.

How can I crop an image into a circle in Prezi?

To create a circular image in Prezi Present:

  1. Select the image and click the arrow next to Crop.
  2. Choose 1:1 to make it square if it isn't yet.
  3. Click Edit and set Rounded corners to 100 in the right sidebar.

Why does my presentation keep zooming back to the overview between topics?

By default, Prezi presentations return to the overview (or parent topic) before moving to the next section. If you prefer a smoother flow:

  1. Open the ☰ (hamburger) menu in the editor.
  2. Click Topic path settings.
  3. Select Zoom directly to the next topic and Zoom directly to the next subtopic.
  4. Click Save.

Your presentation will now move seamlessly from one idea to the next without returning to the overview.

How do I add different animations to my presentation?

Prezi Present has a number of animation options to add to your presentation, including Frames, Zoom to, Zoom out, Fade in, and Fade out. You can mix and match them to create engaging visuals:

  • Combine fade and zoom animations for emphasis.
  • Apply fades to multiple objects or groups for a quick reveal.
  • Zoom in to highlight details and zoom out for the bigger picture.
  • Reorder animations in the timeline to control presentation flow.

How can I add my brand logo to every slide?

To add your brand logo to every portion of content, use your brand kit to apply your logo automatically and it will appear in the bottom-left corner, if you’re on a team account. If not, you can manually paste your logo into each frame or topic and position it wherever you like.

How do I keep a version history of my Prezi presentation?

You can review recent edits with Undo and Redo while working on your presentation. To keep a version history for future reference, save a copy of your presentation after making major updates.

Collaboration

Who can I collaborate with in Prezi?

You can collaborate with anyone who has a Prezi license similar to yours. If you’re a paid user, note that free users may need to upgrade to collaborate on private presentations.

Can my team comment on presentations?

Sharing and viewing

How can I download my Prezi presentation?

You can download your Prezi presentation using the Prezi desktop app. Open your presentation, then select Download or Export to save a portable file. This lets you present and share your work offline.

What’s the best way to share my Prezi presentation?

Prezi gives you flexible ways to share your presentations, so you can reach your audience anywhere:

  • View link: For quick sharing with anyone.
  • Tracking link: To get analytics on who’s viewed your presentation.

You can share your presentation with anyone using a view link, they don’t need a Prezi account to open it.

How can I control who can view my presentation?

How can I embed my presentation on a website?

To embed your Prezi presentation on a website, go to your dashboard, click the three dots on your presentation's thumbnail, select Share, then Embed, and copy the provided code. Learn more about how to embed your Prezi presentation.

Prezi Analytics

I shared my presentation with one person, but it shows two viewers on Prezi Analytics. Why?

Viewer numbers on Prezi Analytics reflect devices, not individuals. If someone views your presentation on both a computer and a phone, it counts as two views. Learn more about how to use Prezi Present Analytics.
