Find templates to use in Prezi Present from your dashboard. Just click the Create new presentation button to get started.

Choosing a template

To create a new presentation with a template, just click + New Presentation and Create from template or Create new presentation from your dashboard.

You’ll then see a variety of templates to choose from. You can browse through the gallery or search for templates by color or theme using the search bar at the top of the page. 

Click on a template to open a preview, then use the left and right arrows to preview its content and style. Click Use this template or Use this template with AI to create a new presentation, or close the window to select a different one.

Accessing your team template

To use your team's own branded template, you'll find them at the top of the Template library under Your team templates. Select it and click on Use this template to start editing.

AI templates

Some templates are marked with a Use with AI callout. These templates work seamlessly with Prezi AI so you can enter your content or prompt into Prezi AI and get your full presentation using the layout and colors of your selected template.

Click on an AI template to open a preview. Once you click Use this template, Prezi AI will open and you can enter your content. To learn more about effectively using Prezi AI, check out our article here.

Video templates

Our video creation tool, Prezi Video enables you to turn any Prezi presentation into a video. We have a variety of video templates specifically designed for presentations that will be recorded as videos. You can find these by searching “Video” in the Template search bar.

Video templates are optimized for showing you, the presenter, next to your content on screen. This way, you don’t don't have to choose between sharing your screen or showing your face. You’re always connected and engaged with your audience.

These templates work best for use with Prezi Video, where you can record a video presentation or share it live in your video conferencing app of choice. However, you can also turn your presentation into a video or add narration to it even if you are not using one of the video templates.

Starting from scratch

From your dashboard, click on + New Presentation and select Start from scratch to build up your presentation from a completely blank template. If you’re already in the template chooser, you can select a template with the name Blank.

Editing your template

After you choose a template and start a new presentation, you can customize it at any time. Click here to learn all about structuring your presentation. 

Changing the background image and color

Click the Style button on the top toolbar, then select Background to open the background sidebar. From here, you can change the background color, pick a different aspect ratio, and add a different background image.

Changing your template

If you’d like to completely change your template, you have to create a new presentation and copy (CTRL/CMD+C) and paste (CTRL/CMD+V) your content individually between the two presentations.
