Copy and pasting in Prezi Present

Have the perfect image, chart, frame, topic structure, or other object that you want to use again? Luckily, you can duplicate them in Prezi Present with just a few clicks or keystrokes. You can copy and paste content within a presentation or from one presentation to another.

  1. Click to select the object that you want to copy.
  2. Duplicate by pressing CTRL/CMD+D.
  3. To copy, press CTRL/CMD+C or right-click and select “Copy” from the context menu.
  4. To paste, press CTRL/CMD+V or right-click and select “Paste” from the context menu.
  5. You can also duplicate a topic from the left sidebar by clicking the three dots on its thumbnail and selecting Duplicate from the dropdown menu.

 

Note:You can copy more than one object at a time by holding the SHIFT key and selecting multiple items on your canvas.

Copying and pasting or duplicating visuals

  1. Click to select the object that you want to copy.
  2. Press Click Ctrl+D (Windows) or CMD+D (Mac) to duplicate any objects
  3. To copy, press CTRL+C (Windows) or CMD+C (Mac) 
  4. Alternatively right-click and select “Copy” from the context menu.
  5. To paste, press CTRL+V (Windows) or CMD+V (Mac) or right-click and select “Paste” from the context menu.

Duplicating topics 

  1. Navigate to the left sidebar 
  2. Click the three dots on the thumbnail of the topic
  3. Select Duplicate
  4. Drag and drop the new topic to the order you would like it to be presented
  5. Move the new topic to where you would like it to be on the canvas
  6. Start editing your duplicated topic

Copying and pasting or duplicating frames

  1. Select the frame you would like to duplicate
  2. Press CTRL/CMD+D to duplicate
  3. Or press CTRL/CMD+C to copy and CTRL/CMD+V to paste
  4. Move the duplicated frame to where you would like it to be on the canvas
  5. Editing the frame if needed

Note:You can copy any content from your canvas (including whole topics) and paste it into another open presentation.
