In order to be able to record a Prezi Video, all you need is a good idea, a big smile, and just a bit of free time... oh, and also a computer with a camera.
Enabling your camera
To fully utilize Prezi Video’s video creation power, you’ll need to make sure your built-in or external camera is enabled.
When you first open Prezi Video (online or desktop), you’ll be prompted to enable your camera. The camera should connect automatically; however, you will see a popup message if there is an issue connecting the camera.

Prezi Video on the Web
Please use a different device (with a built-in webcam) or connect a camera to your computer. Also, make sure the correct display (laptop or external screen) that contains the camera is selected.
2. Google Chrome (and Prezi Video) can’t access your camera because it is blocked in the security settings of your computer.
- On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy.
- Click Camera.
- Select the checkbox next to "Prezi Video" to allow access to your camera.
- On Windows, go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera.
- Choose your preferred setting for Allow apps to access your camera.
- Under Choose which apps can access your camera, turn the individual settings for apps On or Off.

3. Google Chrome can’t access your camera because it has been blocked in Chrome.
Please change this setting in Chrome Settings by typing chrome://settings in the address bar. You can find detailed instructions on how to allow camera access here.
4. Chrome (and Prezi Video) can’t access your camera because it’s being used by another tool or program.
Please close the application that is using your camera (Skype, other web conferencing tools, etc.) so you can instead access it with Prezi Video.
Prezi Video on Mac
