While being the star of your Prezi Video, make sure your audience can see you and your content crystal clear. To do so, check the built-in camera of your device to see if you’re happy with the image quality. If the resolution doesn't meet your standards, don’t worry - you can easily connect an external camera or microphone to create the same high-quality videos you’re used to seeing from YouTubers and other content creators.
Using a USB webcam
Although some computers/laptops might have great built-in webcams, you can find a variety of USB webcams on the market that can guarantee a much better image resolution when recording a video. Just connect your webcam via a USB input and select it as a default camera in the Camera settings in the top toolbar of the Prezi Video app or on the browser settings page if you are recording online.
Using a DSLR camera
If you have a good camera on hand, why not use it to make top quality Prezi Videos? To connect your camera to your computer for recording videos, you will need a cable with USB and HDMI outputs and a capture card (we recommend using Cam Link products).
Once your camera is connected, make sure the camera is not turned off or in display mode.
Then, select it as a default camera in the Camera settings in the top toolbar of the Prezi Video app or on the browser settings page if you are recording online.
