Adding and customizing text styles

Even though visuals are proven to be more efficient than bullet points and lengthy text boxes in a presentation, the main learnings of your story should be visible on the screen too. With the right text style preset you can make sure the textual elements look outstanding and consistent throughout your presentation.

Paid feature: Creating a custom color scheme is available for users with a Plus or higher Prezi Next plan. Luckily it’s a breeze to upgrade your license and get access to this and all the other great features our Prezi plans have to offer.

Updating the text style

Click the Style button at the top of your screen, then click on the three dots (...) next to "Text" to open the “Text styles” sidebar.

Did you know? You can also click directly on the Text thumbnail to automatically refresh the text style settings.

Click on Create new or hover over one of the default text styles. Clicking them will update the text style throughout the entire presentation. You can find the template’s original text style at the bottom.

Creating a new text style

First, name your text style, then set a title, a subtitle, and a body text font. You can also add a secondary title and body text font in case the text in your presentation is more structured.

To further personalize your presentation, create a color scheme too to make your work even more memorable.

You can find all your own saved text styles at the top later on in any presentation.

You can also fine-tune the existing text styles and save them to reuse later. Hover over the thumbnail and click the pencil icon in the top left corner to edit and save a text style.
