While visuals are more effective than bullet points and lengthy text, key points should still be visible on the screen. Using the right text style ensures your presentation looks consistent and engaging.

Updating the text style
Click the Style button at the top of your screen, and select “Text style” to open a new sidebar.
Browse through the default text styles available. Clicking them will update the text style throughout the entire presentation. You can find the template’s original text style at the bottom.
Creating a new text style
Click on Create new. Give it a name to your text style, set a title, a subtitle, and a body text font. You can also add a secondary title and body text font in case the text in your presentation is more structured.
You can click the arrows to see the fonts that you can choose from in the dropdown menu. In addition, you can also browse a vast collection of Google fonts by clicking More fonts at the bottom of the dropdown.
Browse the collection based on font type, script, or by name and tick the box next to its name to add it to your default font list.
To further personalize your presentation, create a color scheme too to make your work even more memorable.
You can find all your own saved text styles at the top later on in any presentation.
To remove a font from the list, simply untick the box next to its name and click the blue Update fonts button. You can return to this collection to update your font list any time.
Editing a text style
You can also fine-tune the existing text styles and save them to reuse later. Hover over the thumbnail and click the pencil icon in the top left corner to edit and save a text style.
