Setting the layout and alignment of your content in Prezi Present

Bring some feng shui to your presentation and organize your visuals on the canvas in a way that it’s pleasing for the eye and for the soul. With our alignment tool, it only takes a few quick clicks to make your content more organized.

  1. To align any objects, select them holding Shift or dragging the mouse around them and choose an alignment option from the property bar.
  2. You can also align objects manually using the orange guides that will appear on the canvas.
  3. To create aligned content, you can choose from the frames layouts sidebar once you add a new frame to your canvas.
  4. To create aligned content inside your topics and subtopics, right click inside them and choose Change layout topic from the context menu.


Aligning objects

1. Select the objects (text, images, videos, shapes, icons, frames, topics, etc.) you want to align by holding down the Shift key + clicking on the items or by dragging the mouse to select the area with all the content you would like to align.

2. The Align button will appear in the property toolbar. 

3. Click the arrow to open the dropdown menu and select the alignment option you’d like to use.

You can easily align your objects manually as well. Just watch out for the orange guides to align your content with laser-precision.

Pro Tip: To disable snapping, click CMD + click and drag on Mac and ALT + click and drag transformation handles on Windows.

Frames layouts

Frame layouts help you design and organize your content easily. When you draw your frame, a new layout menu will appear in the right sidebar. Once the frame layout is selected, you can easily replace the placeholder content with your own.

Content layouts for topics and subtopics

You can also select one of the pre-made content layouts to organize your content within topics or subtopics.
