Linking charts and maps by tab name in Prezi Design

This setting allows you to link charts and maps by their tab names so that your viewers can navigate through several data visualizations simultaneously. Switching between multiple tabs at the same time is possible if the charts and maps on the page have tabs with identical names. Follow the steps below and create your own interactive project.

Linking tabs by names

  1. To create additional tabs in your charts and maps, add new columns or sheets to your data set. Make sure to give the related tabs of different charts/maps the same name so that you can link them to one another.

  2. Once you've added and named your tabs, go to the settings panel on the right and expand the Viewer experience tab. Check the box next to Link charts by tab name. Now, your charts/maps are linked together by their tabs. If you'd like to turn this setting off, uncheck the respective box in the settings.

Hiding the tabs

If you'd like to switch between the tabs of all charts/maps from only one object and hide the other tabs, you can do so in the settings panel on the right. Select a chart or map by clicking on it, expand the Chart properties or Map properties tab, and toggle on the Hide tabs option.
