Using presenter notes online

Need a cue? Add presenter notes to your presentation as reminders to highlight key information and to help you practice and prepare. While presenting, you will be the only one that sees them, helping you deliver an impressive presentation with maximum confidence. 

Paid feature: Presenter notes are available for users with a Plus or higher Prezi plan. Luckily it’s a breeze to upgrade your license and get access to this and all the other great features our Prezi plans have to offer.

Adding presenter notes

You can add presenter notes to a presentation’s overview, topics, subtopics, and pages. Notes will display in the place on the presentation’s structure where they were added.

Click on the Show Presenter Notes icon in the top right corner of the context toolbar to display the “presenter notes” sidebar. Type your notes into the textbox in the sidebar. Presenter notes automatically save as you type and can be edited and viewed by anyone with editing rights to your presentation. When finished, click the x in the upper right corner of the sidebar to close presenter notes.

Deleting presenter notes

To delete your presenter notes, simply go the part of the presentation where you want your notes removed, click on the Show Presenter Notes icon in the top right corner of the editor to open the sidebar and delete your text from there.

Viewing your notes in Presenter View

To access your notes while presenting or practicing, click the arrow next to blue Present button in the top toolbar and select Presenter View from the dropdown menu. This will open the presentation both in "presenter view" and "present view" . The latter does not include your notes and this is the window your audience will see when you're presenting. Make sure to choose this window to share while using a projector or screen sharing with a video conferencing tool. 

In "presenter view", you will see your presentation broken down into individual steps, your notes on the side (if you added any), and a timer. Use the arrows on the bottom to navigate through your content with your notes displayed. Your audience will be able to see and follow the presentation steps without seeing your notes.
