You've stumbled upon a video that you'd like watch, share or reuse its content? Good news, you can do all of these easily in only a few steps from its view page! What's more, you'll also find the transcript of the video here and there are several advanced options you might find useful while viewing a video, including captions and changing the playback speed. Here's everything you need to know about a Prezi Video view page!
The video window
When opening a Prezi Video view link, you'll see the video window on the top. Use the Play button to view the video and jump 5 seconds back or forward with the icons next the Play/Pause button.
To display captions for the video, simply click the Captions icon (you can edit and download the automatically generated audio transcript of your videos from the video admin page).
To change the playback speed, click the 1x icon on the right. You can watch the video on 1x, 1.2x, 1.5x, 1.7x and 2x speed. To watch the video in fullscreen, select the icon in the right corner.
Sharing options
Under the video window, you'll see a box with a brief description and hashtags added by the owner of the video. Here, you can also support the creator with a like and share the video with others, or even reuse its content.
If you see the Reuse icon under the video window, this means that the owner of the video allows other users to reuse the video's content and record their own video with it. Select this button to open the Prezi Video online editor with the content of the video already added.
Select the Share icon to post the video directly to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter or Google Classroom or copy the link to send it to others. To get the embed code for the video, select the Embed icon, then click Copy code to clipboard.
Audio transcript
Scrolling further down, you'll find the automatically generated audio transcripts with time stamps. Select See full transcript to view the full transcript and select Hide transcript at the bottom to close it.
