How do I add and view presenter notes?
You can add presenter notes to a presentation’s overview, frames, topics, subtopics, and pages. Notes will display in the place on the presentation’s structure where they were added.
How to add notes from the editor
1. Open the presenter notes panel
Choose any of these methods to open notes:
- From the sidebar: Click the three dots next to any frame in the left timeline, then select Presenter notes
- From the Notes button: Click the button in the lower right corner
- From the top menu: Click More > Presenter notes
- From the app menu: Select Insert > Presenter notes
2. Add your notes
Type your notes into the text field. Your notes save automatically as you type.
3. Navigate to other frames (optional)
Use the arrows under the text field to move between different parts of your presentation and add notes to specific frames.
4. Close the notes panel
Click the X in the upper right corner when finished. A note icon will appear next to frames that contain notes in the left sidebar.
Who can see presenter notes
Anyone with editing rights to your presentation can add, edit, and view notes while editing. During presentations, notes are visible only to the presenter in Presenter view—your audience won't see them.
How to add notes from the Presenter view
You can add and review presenter notes while presenting, making it easy to capture audience feedback or add reminders on the fly.
- Open Presenter view
Choose either method:
- Click the Present button, then select Presenter view from the dropdown
- From the app menu, select Present > Presenter view
- Navigate through your presentation
Use the left and right arrow keys to move between frames and view any existing notes.
- Add or edit notes
Click into the notes text box and type your notes. Changes save automatically.
- Adjust text size (optional)
Use the A- and A+ icons in the notes sidebar to make text smaller or larger for easier reading while presenting.
How do I use automatic scrolling in Presenter View?
Your presenter notes can automatically scroll while you’re in presenter view to make it easier than ever to time your presentation. This also allows you to use presenter view as a teleprompter from a second screen.
To enable this, open your presentation in Presenter view and click Fullscreen presenter notes. This will expand your notes to take up the presenter view.
From here, click Auto scrolling to start. You can adjust the speed your text moves at using the bar nearby.
How do I view my notes with the Prezi Viewer App?
You can also access your presenter notes from your phone using the Prezi Viewer app, available on the App Store and Google Play.
- Open the app and log in to your Prezi account
- Select the presentation you want to view the notes of
From here, you can use the app to read and scroll through your presenter notes as you like. You can also use auto scroll and adjust the speed if you prefer.
How do I delete presenter notes?
You can delete presenter notes by opening the notes sidebar, selecting the text and clicking BACKSPACE/DELETE on your keyboard. Changes will save automatically.
