We understand that sometimes you need to adjust your subscription to ensure you get the features you need. Read on to learn how to change your plan.
Downgrading a license
What happens if I downgrade my plan?
Depending on which plan you choose to downgrade to, you’ll lose access to features depending on what’s included in your Prezi plan.
What happens if I downgrade to a free Basic license?
Our free Basic license allows anyone to create up to five presentations with our online editor. However, downgrading to a Basic license means you'll lose privacy control and any of the additional features that come with your Prezi plan.
How do I downgrade my account?
At the moment there is not an option to downgrade a Prezi account via our website. If you wish to downgrade your plan, please contact a member of our support staff directly by clicking here and submit a help request.
Pausing a subscription
Need a break? You can pause your subscription, but keep all your precious data and features. You will not be charged while your plan is paused and you can resume any time. When you are back, you can pick up where you left off.
How to pause your subscription
- Go to your Account Settings page.
- Select the “License” tab.
- Click Cancel Subscription.
- You'll be asked whether you would like to Pause or Cancel your membership.
- Select Pause Membership.
- Choose for how many weeks you would like to put your membership on a hold.
- Click on Confirm Pause.
Canceling a subscription
If Prezi hasn't worked out for you, you can cancel your license at any time. Canceling will stop your recurring payment. This means that when your current subscription comes to an end, we will consider your license as expired.
After your license expires, the presentations you’ve created will remain in your account and keep their privacy status. However, you will no longer be able to edit them or create new presentations.
How to cancel your subscription
1. Go to your Account Settings page.
2. Select the “License” tab.
3. Click Cancel Subscription.
4. You'll be taken to a short questionnaire.
5. Once you've answered it, click Continue.
6. When your subscription has been canceled, you'll receive a confirmation email.
To edit an existing presentation on an expired account, you will need to either renew or downgrade your account. You will then be able to edit your presentations again. Once you downgrade to a free account, you'll lose privacy control and any of the additional features that come with your Prezi plan.
