When adding an image in Prezi Present, you can choose from multiple sources:
- Click Media at the top of your screen and select Image.
- In the sidebar, you can:
- Upload an image from your computer.
- Select from Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive.
- Search the Unsplash image library by keyword.
- Choose from AI-recommended images.

Alternatively, you can add an image from your Prezi Library:
- Click on the three dots More button at the top of your screen, then select My library.
- From the right sidebar that appears, you can filter through the types of item.
- Once you find the image you want to use, click on the thumbnail or drag and drop it onto your canvas.
How do I add a background image in Prezi Present?
If you want to add a background image to your entire presentation, you can do so from the background sidebar. To open it:
- Click the Style button at the top of your screen.
- Click the Background button to open the sidebar.
- Choose one of these options:
- Upload an image from your computer.
- Select from Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive.
- Search Unsplash by keyword.
- Click on the stars next to AI recommended images* to suggest new visuals.

How do I create an AI-generated image in Prezi Present?
You can create AI-generated images in Prezi Present using Prezi AI. This feature lets you instantly design custom visuals that match your presentation’s theme, topic, or tone — no design skills needed.
To generate an AI image:
- Go to Media > Create an image.
- Enter a short text prompt describing what you want to create (for example: a futuristic city skyline at sunset) or click Create a prompt for me.
- Choose a style to define the look and feel (photo, sketch, 3D render, watercolor, etc.).
- Click Generate, then click to add it to your canvas.

How do I move, resize, or rotate an image?
Once your image is added to the Prezi canvas, you can easily adjust its position and orientation.
To move
Click the object you want to move and drag it anywhere on the canvas. After you’ve moved it to where you would like it to be, release the mouse.
To resize
To adjust the size of an object, click to select it and drag a corner to make it larger or smaller.
To rotate
Click on an object to select it. Move your cursor past one of the corners of the object until a rotation icon appears. Then drag your cursor in the direction you want to rotate.
How do I layer or arrange images?
- If you have overlapping objects, you can control which appears in front by using the context menu.
- Right-click (CMD/CTRL+click) on an image and select Bring to front, Bring forward, Send to back or Send backward to move images forwards or back.
- You may need to click "Bring forward" or "Send backward" multiple times to reach the desired order, especially with many overlapping elements such as text, images or grouped items.
How do I crop an image in Prezi Present?
- To crop an image, first select it.
- Click Crop from the property bar to enter crop mode.
- From the corner of your image, drag inward until you’re happy with the crop.
- When done, click the Crop button again.
- You can also click the arrow near Crop to automatically select common crop options such as 1:1 or 16:9 or crop the image from the image editor.
How do I crop an image into a circle?
- Select the image and click the arrow next to Crop.
- Choose 1:1 to make it square if it isn't yet. If so, skip to the next step.
- Select the image again and click Edit.
- From the Edit image sidebar, set Rounded corners to 100.
How do I edit an image in Prezi Present?
To open the image editor, select an image and click Edit from the property bar. You can also right-click (CMD/CTRL+click) directly on the image and select Edit image from the menu.
From here, you can:
- Remove the image's background: click on the Remove background button.
- Change the opacity: use the slider or choose a percentage.
- Round the image's corners: use the slider or choose a percentage.
- Apply a filter: choose from the options in the dropdown menu.
- Add a color overlay filter: toggle on to choose a color and use the slider or percentage to adjust the transparency.
- Add shadow: use the toggle to choose a type of shadow and adjust the advanced settings.
- Adjust image settings (brightness, contrast, shadows, etc.): use the slider or choose a percentage. Click Reset changes at the bottom to revert.
How do I remove an image background?
- Select the image that you want to edit by clicking on it.
- Go to the property bar and click the Edit button.
- From the Edit image right sidebar, select Remove background.
- After a moment, the background will disappear and you can edit and move the image normally.
- You can crop the image to eliminate the excess space that has been removed.
How do I replace or delete an image in Prezi Present?
To delete an image:
- Select the image and press Delete/Backspace, or
- Right-click and choose Delete.

To replace an image:
- Right-click (or CMD/CTRL + click) the image.
- Select Replace from the menu.
- Upload your new image. It will keep the same size and position as the original.
