Layering objects in Prezi Present

Want to put your content front and center, or send it back a few steps? Use layering to create visual effects and add depth to your presentation. You can have multiple layers of stacked objects on your canvas, and placing them in just the right spot only takes a few clicks.

Types of objects in Prezi Present include text, images, shapes, and icons.

1. Right-click on an object.

2. From the context menu, select either:

  • Bring to front: moves the selected object all the way to the front of your canvas, placing it in front of any other objects.
  • Bring forward: moves the selected object up one layer on your canvas, placing it in front of the next object.
  • Send to back: moves the selected object all the way to the back of your canvas so it is behind all other objects.
  • Send backward: moves the selected object down one layer on your canvas so it is behind the previous object.

You should know: If you have many elements such as text boxes, shapes or grouped items behind your selected object, you might need to click "Send backward" or "Bring forward" many times until you reach the exact location you want to.
