We all know Prezi Video lets you create high-quality videos with stunning content that impress your audience and highlight your great ideas. However, sometimes the resolution and recording quality of your video may be reduced depending on your system and setup. Here are a few tips to make sure you're recording in the best possible video quality so you, and your message, come through crystal clear.
1. Use the Prezi Video desktop app
Download the Prezi Video desktop application for the best possible performance. In addition to being able to record in full HD, there are a host of other powerful video creation tools you can find in the app, like unlimited length recording, PowerPoint import, and even live streaming.
You can also sync your videos recorded in the desktop app to your online dashboard to keep all your content in one place and to be able to share your video as a link.
2. Close unused tabs and apps
Try closing any other open tabs and apps running on your computer to free up memory and resources on your computer during recording to avoid lagging and audio-video syncing issues that might only become visible once your video is processed.
3. Double-check the system requirements
Make sure your computer meets the system requirements to run Prezi Video properly.

5. Make sure you have the right lighting
Even though you have a good camera, does the video quality still look a bit off? Make sure that there’s a light source (window, lamp) behind your computer/camera (and not behind you) when you’re recording your video. Take a look at this article to get more tips and tricks on preparing your space for recording and presenting with Prezi Video.
6. Save your video locally
When turning a Prezi presentation into a video in the desktop app, it is worth saving your file locally. After importing a presentation from your Prezi account, go to File > Save in the top toolbar to download the draft file to your computer. This way you can free up bandwidth when editing or live streaming from the app with a video conferencing tool.
