Every story is unique, and so should the path one takes when telling it. Depending on your narrative, you might need to give an overview between each talking point, or you might have to jump right into the next topic. Make sure to choose the right path for your topics and subtopics so your message can reach its destination. Luckily, choosing your own adventure only takes a few clicks.
Changing the order of presentation steps
When editing your presentation, you will see the timeline of your presentation steps in the left sidebar with each step listed in the order they will be shown when you're presenting. You can determine what order your presentation steps will be presented in by simply dragging and moving them around in the left sidebar. This won't change their position on the canvas, only the order they are presented in.
Setting a default path for your presentation
In addition, you can also determine some default path settings for your topics and subtopics to make the flow and structure of the presentation consistent and easy to follow.
From the overview, click the hamburger menu in the top toolbar and select Path settings from the dropdown menu. From here, you can choose a default path your topics and subtopics take when presenting.
Choosing a path for your topics
You can select a path that zooms back to the overview between each topic or zooms directly to the next topic in your presentation, only zooming out to the overview at the end.
Click on the option you would like to use, then click Save.
Choosing a path for your subtopics
Select a path that zooms back to the main topic between subtopics or a path that zooms directly to the next subtopic in your presentation.
Click on the option you would like to use, then click Save.
