You’ve got some great ideas. Now it’s time to make them shine in a new Prezi Present presentation. Starting is simple, just a few clicks and you’ll be on your way to creating your masterpiece.

Creating with AI

1. Click Create with AI from your Prezi dashboard. 
2. Give your presentation a relevant title and click Continue. It’s OK if it’s short.
3. Describe your presentation. If you have an outline, enter it here and click Generate.
4. Prezi AI will create the first draft of your presentation. This can take a bit of time.
5. When your presentation is ready, a new AI Assistant sidebar will appear.
6. Choose your colors, backgrounds, or design ideas and Prezi AI will update them for you. You can also generate more options at any time.
7. If you don’t like what was created, click the Update prompt and provide more direction.
8. When you’re happy with what’s created, click Start editing to go to the editor.

Creating from a template

1. Click + New Presentation and Create from template or Create new presentation on your dashboard to create a new presentation using a template.
2. From the template gallery, you can hover over a template to preview how it looks.
3. Once you find a template you like, you can edit it using the Prezi Present editor or Prezi AI for AI-powered templates.

Starting from scratch

From your dashboard, click on + New Presentation and select Start from scratch to build up your presentation from a completely blank template. If you’re already in the template chooser, you can select a template with the name Blank.

Starting from PowerPoint slides

To create a totally new presentation with your PowerPoint:

1. Navigate to the Presentations part of your Prezi dashboard.
2. Create a new presentation by clicking the Convert PowerPoint button.

Converting a PowerPoint file

1. Click the Upload a file button.
2. Select a .ppt or .pptx file from your computer.
3. Once uploaded, your slides will appear in the sidebar.
4. Select and organize which slides you want to import. They will appear in your presentation with Frames for easy navigation.
